About the position

The Web Designer/Developer II position at Ampcus, Inc. involves creating and managing web content, enhancing user experience, and producing video content. The role requires a blend of web design and development skills, particularly with Drupal, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, alongside video editing capabilities using Adobe Creative Suite. The ideal candidate will have a strong creative background and the ability to manage multiple projects while collaborating with various departments.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop and design pages within a website content management system (Drupal) using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Write, edit, and publish engaging content for the website and various platforms.
• Design, code, and implement new user experience functionality for websites and digital assets.
• Maintain websites using authoring or scripting languages and content creation tools.
• Evaluate code to ensure it meets industry standards and is compatible with various browsers and devices.
• Translate custom designs into functional, responsive web experiences within the Drupal CMS.
• Enhance user experience by approaching design from the end-user perspective.
• Edit a variety of video projects, including sizzle reels and instructional videos.
• Create motion graphics for video collateral and understand animation concepts.
• Standardize templates for re-use and manage work tasks using Jira, Slack, and Google Docs.
• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders swiftly and positively.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in web design and development, particularly with Drupal, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience in video production, editing, and export settings, including audio mixing and color grading.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Dreamweaver).
• Experience in project management and asset management.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality work and an eagerness to adopt new tools and methods.
