The Web Designer/Developer position in Centreville, VA, is a direct hire role focused on designing and developing creative applications for web and mobile platforms. The role involves collaborating with clients and project teams to create goal-driven design solutions while ensuring a high-quality user experience through usability testing and iterative design processes.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for development of creative options, design, and implementation of apps, mobile and Internet products.
• Brainstorms with clients, customers, and design team to create goal-driven design solutions.
• Work closely with project teams to understand business objectives and technical constraints.
• Participate in product usability tests and translate the results into actionable suggestions for improving/enhancing user experiences.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years work-related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in related field of study.
• Proficient in using design tools such as the Adobe Creative Suite, HTML4/5, CSS2/3, JavaScript & jQuery.
• Understanding with Agile, including Scrum.
• Knowledge of web technologies such as application and web servers, .NET, etc.
• Proficient in responsive web design, web standards and best practices, and mobile user experience.
