About the position

Join Yardi Systems as a Web Designer I, where you will leverage your web design skills to create outstanding user interfaces. This role focuses on developing responsive and visually impactful websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring a seamless user experience across all devices and platforms. You will work closely with the Client Services team to support clients and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create user interfaces using front-end code in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Deliver front-end code that functions consistently across all browsers, devices, and platforms.
• Ensure front-end code is responsive and implemented with a mobile-first approach.
• Leverage the existing framework and technology.
• Design websites that are easy to access and visually effective.
• Create wireframes, rapid prototypes, and comps to show important interactions, functionality, user interfaces, and mock-up designs.
• Design for maximum usability with a focus on user experience.
• Provide design advice on projects and make recommendations for improving websites.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor products.
• Coordinate closely with Client Services (CSD) to support clients.
• Fulfill multiple project requests while simultaneously meeting tight production deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Web Design and Development, UI Design, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two (2) to three (3) years of web design experience utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, Bootstrap front-end framework, or similar tools for creating websites and web applications.
• Experience with User Interface Design.
• An online portfolio of design samples.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Solid knowledge of web technologies and applications.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of Bootstrap front-end framework.
• Understanding of accessibility requirements.
• Strong knowledge of responsive and mobile design.
• Familiarity with iOS and Android application design.
• Familiarity with backend/CMS applications.
• Understanding of UX Design.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Good attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies and integrate them into our environment and practices.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
