About the position

The Web Designer Internship at Springs Window Fashions offers a unique opportunity for motivated individuals to gain hands-on experience in web design and digital marketing. Interns will work closely with the Marketing Team to support various projects, including UI/UX design, digital product development, and email marketing. This paid internship is designed to provide valuable insights into the industry while fostering professional growth through challenging project work and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage Lucky Orange heat maps, session recordings, Optimize A/B test results, and Google Analytics to evaluate GraberBlinds.com and BaliBlinds.com.
  • Identify hot spots where consumers are seeking more information from static assets.
  • Analyze page path reports to identify common paths and potential dead-end paths.
  • Support in the review of Bali and Graber web feedback reports from Customer Service and recorded sessions for Visualizer and recommend improvements for each audience.
  • Create wireframes and design prototypes in Figma based on review and/or results of analytics and testing.
  • Support digital team members in New Product Development (NPD) launches.
  • Work with Digital Marketing Specialists to understand key messages and goals of the launch and recommend web changes.
  • Help update residential sites and dealer portals in EpiServer.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to finalize design, execute code changes, and implement content changes for key areas in the EpiServer UAT environment.
  • Route NPD launch proofs and incorporate feedback, ultimately launching all changes on-time in the EpiServer Production environment.
  • Design and code a quarterly newsletter for one of the Residential Business Units.
  • Meet with Content Team on goals and objectives of the email content.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to design and code the email.
  • Route the email for proofing and incorporate feedback.
  • Test email design for deliverability.
  • Work with Digital Marketing Specialist on list curation.

Requirements

  • Previous internship experience in a relevant function preferred.
  • Pursuing a 4-year degree with preferred current standing of Sophomore/Junior level.
  • Marketing Major Preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and attention to detail).
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
