About the position

The Senior Web Designer (Special Projects) at Chenega Military, Intelligence & Operations Support (MIOS) is responsible for designing and building web pages using various graphics software applications and tools. This role focuses on developing an online interactive entrance/intake site for cybersecurity services, which includes creating questionnaire forms, workflows, and email notifications to support governance. The position emphasizes professional development and offers opportunities for growth within a supportive work culture.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop user interface features, site animation, and special-effects elements.
• Contribute to the design group's efforts to enhance the look and feel of the organization's online offerings.
• Design websites to support the organization's strategies and goals relative to external communications.
• Create aesthetically pleasing landing pages and input forms for a dynamic user experience.
• Develop and deliver a project plan, including a communications plan, implementation plan, user/admin permission matrix, training plan, deployment plan, and sustainment plan, with milestones and metrics for success.
• Advise senior management on identified risks and improvements for product implementation and current processes.
• Capture and share best practice knowledge among teams and the community.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's of Arts/Science, or Masters preferred; additional years of experience may be used in lieu of degree.
• 10+ years of experience in web design and development.
• IAT II certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M.
• TS/SCI clearance required.
• Hands-on knowledge in Microsoft SharePoint Design and Development.
• Experience in graphics and design.
• Knowledge of and experience with web-based technologies.
• Expert knowledge of HTML, Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or other design-related applications.
