About the position

The Web Designer/UI/UX Designer role is focused on developing user-centered designs for various online products, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand standards. The position involves conducting user research, creating UI mockups, and collaborating with product managers and UX teams within an Agile development environment. The designer will also be responsible for establishing acceptance criteria and conducting user acceptance testing to ensure the final product aligns with design specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop analysis and user research plan that meets project deadlines.
• Review previously conducted research to limit rework.
• Conduct user interviews and document user workflow and system interaction.
• Work closely with product manager and UX team members to ensure consistent design and appropriate reuse of design patterns across products.
• Create User Interface (UI) mockups, user task and interaction flows, screen designs, and user-interface interaction details that comply with Wolters Kluwer Design System and brand standards.
• Deconstruct desired product features into development stories and establish acceptance criteria in an Agile development team.
• Help design user acceptance testing to ensure the final product meets the design.
• Provide desk check of delivered features and work with product manager to align planning for market introduction with the delivery schedule.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in user experience design.
• SaaS application design background required; healthcare application development background preferred.
• Proficiency in Figma design tools.

• Ability to relocate to Madison, WI before starting work.
