About the position

The Web Designer-UX position at BOOST LLC involves developing user experience-focused custom programs for technical websites, aimed at enhancing both internal and external user engagement. This role is essential for creating appealing and functional web applications that meet business needs while ensuring a high-quality user experience. The position is hybrid, allowing for flexibility in work location, and reports to the Functional Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Designs web applications and components from the requirements stage through design to production deployment.
• Creates front-end user interfaces for new or existing databases using UX principles and MS Azure.
• Implements user-driven templates, databases, and interfaces for ease of use.
• Develops external and internal web portals for accurate information input and retrieval.
• Writes clean, well-documented, high-quality code that meets accepted standards and business requirements.
• Helps design and develop site features that address business needs and improve user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in web or graphic design or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years of UX experience.
• Experience with MS Azure development.
• Proven experience with graphics, layout, scripting, and programming.
• Thorough knowledge of programming and server software operations.
• U.S. citizenship required; must be security clearance eligible.

Nice-to-haves

• Active Secret or Top-Secret Clearance is a plus.
