Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Create and customize themes for Drupal and WordPress.
• Utilize CSS frameworks like Bootstrap for consistent styling.
• Conduct user research to inform design decisions and improve user experience.
• Organize website content logically through effective information architecture.
• Create wireframes and prototypes to visualize website structure and interactions.
• Ensure websites are accessible and usable by individuals with disabilities, following WCAG guidelines.
• Track code changes and collaborate using Git version control.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with completion of relevant coursework in Information Technology or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of required experience.
• Two years of experience in web design and development.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development.
• Experience with responsive web design principles.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 for tracking website performance.
• Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools.
• Knowledge of visual design principles, including color theory and typography.
