About the position

The Web Designer at Coalition Technologies is responsible for creating unique and client-specific designs, including logos, brand guides, and website mockups. This role emphasizes collaboration with various teams to achieve client goals through effective design while adhering to project schedules and quality standards. The position offers the flexibility of remote work and is focused on fostering a supportive and innovative environment for team members.

Responsibilities

• Design unique and client-specific logos, brand guides, and design systems from scratch.
• Create wireframes, website mockups, and other related graphics for both desktop and mobile devices based on creative briefs.
• Draw vector icons and other illustrations.
• Attend and participate in client meetings, collaborating with Digital Producers to achieve client goals.
• Work with copywriters, SEO team, developers, and other teams to establish project vision and analyze usability and performance tradeoffs.
• Prepare design files for hand-off to developers.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule while applying methodology and quality standards.

Requirements

• Mastery of video/photo editing software.
• Experience with Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and their application in web development (preferred).
• A passion for design with an understanding of core concepts and fundamentals.
• Desire to continue learning and keep up with the design industry.
• An impressive portfolio showcasing website design experience (e-commerce preferred).
• Experience with project tools such as Basecamp and G-Suite (preferred).
• Experience presenting materials to clients professionally.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and meet short deadlines.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• A reliable workstation with a fast computer, microphone, speakers, and stable internet and power.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with project management tools like Basecamp and G-Suite.
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
