About the position

The web designer will be responsible for building and maintaining both new and existing websites aimed at a growing B2B customer base. This role emphasizes design skills and artistic ability, requiring proficiency in various design tools and a solid understanding of web design principles.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain new and existing websites for a B2B customer base.
• Utilize the complete Adobe Creative Suite, with a focus on Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Implement CSS design principles and extensions like SASS.
• Apply responsive design principles to ensure optimal user experience across devices.
• Work with e-commerce engines such as Magento, Volusion, and Big Commerce.
• Modify and support CMS platforms like WordPress.
• Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders, including clients.
• Present design concepts and solutions professionally through various communication channels.

Requirements

• Proficiency in the complete Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Deep understanding of CSS design principles and extensions like SASS.
• Experience with responsive design principles.
• Familiarity with e-commerce engines such as Magento, Volusion, and Big Commerce.
• Working knowledge of web programming languages such as JavaScript, PHP, XML, and JQuery.
• Understanding of MySQL, RESTful services, APIs, and other database concepts.
• Current knowledge of modern web design principles and practices.
• Ability to accept critique and communicate effectively with clients.
