About the position

As a Web Designer at American Food & Vending, you will be responsible for creating and designing multiple websites that are visually appealing, user-friendly, and aligned with the company's branding standards. This role involves collaborating with the marketing team and business leaders to enhance user experience through effective design and layout for both mobile and desktop platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout mobile and desktop websites by analyzing data to enhance performance.
• Generate and iterate ideas for improved UI/UX.
• Employ a wide range of design skills including visual, conversational, and information architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and execute design plans.
• Continuously enhance the user experience design process.
• Create functional graphics, digital proofs, UI/UX designs, and visual concepts.
• Develop flows, sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and other design artifacts.
• Exhibit meticulous attention to detail and follow instructions.
• Maintain a flexible approach and incorporate feedback into designs.
• Develop interactive experiences using prototyping software.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a Web Designer or UX Designer.
• Knowledge of Figma, Sketch, HTML5, CSS, Wireframes, and UI/UX.
• Experience with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
• Experience designing and launching for both desktop and mobile environments.
