About the position

The Web Designer position at Edge One Media is a part-time role focused on managing website content and support, primarily using WordPress. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with various departments to create and update web content, assist in the development of new technologies, and ensure that the design aligns with the company's branding. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can juggle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Manage Website Support Desk.
• Work with different departments to create and update internal and external content in existing websites and WordPress.
• Assist in development and maintenance of new technologies and web applications.
• Design and realign new and existing pages to match existing design direction.
• WordPress site structuring, design, and site development.
• Assist with content planning and scheduling.
• Ability to meet target goals and troubleshoot/solve system failures.
• Assist with blog development and maintenance.
• Read and respond to emails.
• Be dedicated and committed to sharing our company culture with others.
• Be flexible and desire to grow within the company and community.

Requirements

• Proficient in WordPress.
• Ability to develop and maintain plugin integrations and software extensions.
• Proficient in HTML and CSS.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Background in writing, editing, marketing, and graphic design skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Exposure to YouTube, Vimeo, and other social media platforms.
