About the position

The Web Designer position focuses on web design and front-end development, ensuring legal compliance standards are met while creating digital graphics and managing website content. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic who can work independently and implement creative solutions to problems. A portfolio showcasing design experience is mandatory for applicants.

Responsibilities

• Website design and front-end development
• Designing digital banners, graphics, and website layouts
• Creating emails for sales, contests, announcements, sliders, and promotions
• Developing a web-based brand guide for our brands
• Adding and updating product listings
• Archiving and organizing assets
• Enhancing the online catalog to be more interactive and dynamic
• Updating and creating content and graphics, improving SEO and Google Analytics
• Monitoring website functionality and performance
• Testing responsiveness, usability, content, and accuracy of all sites
• Quality checking to ensure information is accurate, current, and relevant
• Maintaining company information such as domains, hosting, and product files
• Sending detailed status reports upon project completion
• Making timely changes to site images or text
• Occasionally purchasing or moving domains, hosting, and email accounts
• Ensuring ADA compliance for the website
• Performing other web-related tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of graphic and web design principles
• Highly proficient in creating digital graphics
• Web design and layout principles including responsive, mobile-first design
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with WordPress and Shopify
• UI/UX design skills
• Knowledge of ADA Website Compliance Standards
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS
• Experience with Google Analytics
• Understanding of SEO best practices
