About the position

As a Web Designer at John Paul Mitchell Systems (JPMS), you will play a crucial role within the Digital Media team, contributing to the development and execution of scalable front-end solutions that enhance customer experience. Your responsibilities will include designing and building Amazon Enhanced Brand Content (EBC) and A++ content, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive project execution, and maintaining website updates. You will also be involved in designing and preparing email marketing campaigns, uploading and tagging digital assets to repositories, and testing and optimizing digital experiences to drive engagement and conversion on the Amazon platform. In this position, you will work closely with peers and stakeholders, adhering to brand guidelines and reinforcing the company identity. Your strong work ethic and positive attitude will leave a lasting impression on everyone you interact with. You will need to manage your time effectively, act with urgency, and be highly organized and detail-oriented. The fast-paced environment will require you to be a self-starter who can thrive with minimal guidance, while also being comfortable wearing many hats and moving fluidly between tasks. Responsibilities

  • Design and build Amazon Enhanced Brand Content (EBC) and A++ content.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop scalable front-end solutions.
  • Build and maintain website updates.
  • Design and prepare email marketing campaigns.
  • Upload and tag digital assets to repository(ies).
  • Test and optimize digital experiences.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, digital and web software.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and driven to build robust user experiences.
  • Working knowledge of UX/UI best practices to provide strategic recommendations to Creative teams and ensure seamless execution.
  • Working knowledge of Amazon's guidelines and best practices for EBC and A++ content, ensuring compliance and optimization.
  • Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and branding.
  • Working knowledge of accessibility + SEO best practices.
  • Proactive, creative thinker; able to work independently and take ownership to produce measurable results.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills with design files as well as great attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.
