About the position

The Web Designer position involves the design and development of web pages, graphics, and multimedia. The role requires a blend of technical and creative skills to ensure compatibility and seamless integration with various technologies, including Java and ColdFusion. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and a quick learning ability in diverse environments while consistently delivering quality work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coding for the creation of new and maintenance of existing HTML and backend code
• Proposing new HTML concepts applicable to a variety of marketing strategies
• Must be able to take design and turn it into a skin/theme (PSD to HTML)
• Understanding of CMS systems

Requirements

• Experience in graphics, layout, scripting, and programming
• Ability to create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps
• Experience in presenting and defending designs to peers and executive stakeholders
• Ability to establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards
