About the position

This role requires collaboration with developers, content creators, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging website layouts and user interfaces using best practices in usability and accessibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional web designs.
• Conduct user research to understand target audience needs and preferences, ensuring designs meet usability standards.
• Create graphics, motion graphics, and typography that enhance the overall aesthetic of the website.
• Optimize websites for SEO to improve visibility and search engine rankings.
• Utilize content management systems (CMS) for website updates and maintenance.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in web design to continuously improve skills and output.

Requirements

• Proficiency in web design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or similar graphic design software.
• Familiarity with front-end development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React Express.
• Strong understanding of usability principles and user-centered design methodologies.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices to enhance website performance.
• Experience in conducting user research to inform design decisions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Telerik or similar UI component libraries is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Python is a plus for integrating back-end functionalities.
