About the position

The Sustainment Division provides GCC mission services to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operational support services for both the GCC and the Warfighter. The Sustainment Division provides foundational services such as continual process improvement, cost control, mission planning, and opportunities for organizational efficiencies which include development of tools, asset management (HW/SW) for LCM and property accountability and security control to protect GCC CONUS managed DODIN-A services (NIPRNet and SIPRNet). The Web Hosting service provides custom web-based, data driven applications in both SharePoint and Java in support of the GCC mission. The team implements the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) standard to help plan and design the processes that go into programming the end solution. This involves extensive documentation in the form of requirements and interface mockups, etc. The team also provides O&M for all deployed applications which includes the development of user guides and other training materials/videos, in-person training, bug tracking and resolution through ITSM, maintaining the web application server and SharePoint site collections, and facilitating requests for new functionality to existing applications as well as requests for new sites and applications. The GCC maintains internal and Enterprise web portal and web-based collaborative platforms and services in support of internal operation, Enterprise mission overview, and operational collaboration. Support the Government in managing hosting support services to include access, security, auditing, and backups for the web portal and other GCC web-based collaborative platforms, services, and tools. Develop, monitor, secure, sustain, and operate Enterprise NIPRNet and SIPRNet web portals and applications. On-call support 24 hours a day, seven (7) days a week. Historically 850 NIPRNet and 500 SIPRNet event/incident/service request tickets require resolution each year. Performs the following Web site development and maintenance functions: Set up, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade the Enterprise NIPRNet and SIPRNet web portals. The web server and services are run on both Microsoft and non-Microsoft Operating Systems/applications. Provide development and administration support for GCC's content and applications hosted on web-based collaborative platforms to include SharePoint. Move hardware and capabilities to SIPRNet as required. Operate and maintain the CONUS Network Security Center (NSC) portals which provide Army leadership and Theater customers with situational awareness information regarding the status of the DoDIN-A. Maintain and administer web servers and perform backups of all web content. Design and develop web graphics, web pages, web sites, and interactive web applications to include an internal web-based, data-sharing application to store and display all reports, SOPs, manuals, and forms used by the GCC. Design team personnel are required to utilize a wide variety of development tools from Adobe, Oracle Microsoft, BMC, and Java and must have experience in database design. Implement technical security and cybersecurity best practices for establishing, maintaining, and administering web sites IAW NETCOM Regulation 25-70, Web Content Administration, Policies, and Procedures, and other applicable regulations. Maintain and evaluate web server audit and usage control logs. Ensure internal web services are Common Access Card (CAC)-enabled. Control web site access and monitor write, access, and edit privileges for all web sites on GCC web servers.

Requirements

  • 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree.
  • Certifications: DCWF Code 621 Advanced: TBD.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and skilled in quality assurance of output.
  • Demonstrated experience with meeting deadlines with both timeliness and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Possess and maintain Secret security clearance.
