About the position

We are seeking a talented and experienced Web Designer to join our team in Folsom, CA. This full-time, on-site position focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining visually appealing and functional websites primarily using WordPress. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web design, a passion for creating responsive designs, and the ability to implement effective SEO strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain websites using WordPress and other content management systems.
• Utilize deep understanding of WordPress, including page builders, plugins, themes, and hosting.
• Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and responsive across various devices.
• Customize and update WordPress themes and plugins to meet project needs.
• Apply knowledge of CSS and HTML to create and refine web elements.
• Implement and optimize on-site SEO strategies to enhance web visibility.
• Debug and improve existing WordPress sites, analyze technical performance, and apply effective solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years as a Web Designer with a focus on WordPress.
• Extensive experience with WordPress, including Elementor Page Builder (preferred).
• Strong understanding of mobile and responsive design principles.
• Proficient in CSS, HTML, and understanding information architecture for SEO usability.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage projects effectively.
