About the position
The Web Developer/Designer II at Agile Defense is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining software applications and SharePoint environments. This role involves working with various software applications, including government and commercial off-the-shelf products, to meet the needs of the PEO and its project managers. The position requires a strong understanding of C#, .NET, and SQL, along with the ability to analyze requirements and develop solutions in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain software applications and SharePoint environments.
- Provide administration and management for SQL production databases and other databases.
- Develop and maintain source code in compliance with secure coding standards and government regulations.
- Provide application development support within the Development Team.
- Troubleshoot application deployment and monitor technical performance of internal systems.
- Gather information from consumers about program functionality and write reports.
- Conduct development tests and contribute to team meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in web development or related field.
- DoD IAT Level II Certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE) within 6 months.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, SQL/T-SQL, GIT, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Windows servers and management tools.
- Familiarity with server and database management.
- Knowledge of CAC/Smart Card Authentication Process.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
