About the position

As a software engineer, you will join a distributed development team dedicated to building web application solutions using a modern, forward-thinking tech stack. Your role will involve collaborating with other developers to translate designs and workflows into functional code, adhering to project requirements, and recognizing subtle yet crucial details that contribute to the overall success of our applications. You will also play a key role in contributing to a library of custom components that enhance our product offerings. Our team primarily works with Svelte and SvelteKit, but we welcome candidates with comparable experience in other JavaScript frameworks, provided they have a strong capacity to learn quickly. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a distributed development team to build web application solutions.
• Translate designs and workflows into functional code.
• Follow project requirements and recognize important details in the development process.
• Contribute to a library of custom components for web applications.
• Build scalable and performant services with a holistic view of application needs and product direction.
• Write clean, solid code and welcome feedback from peers.

Requirements

• Minimum 4-7 years of professional, full-stack web applications development experience.
• Mastery level in TypeScript/Javascript, Node.js, and CSS.
• Experience with NoSQL databases.
• Deep familiarity with Google Cloud Platform.
• Professional experience with Firestore and/or Elastic Search.
• Experience working with video events/media APIs.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Figma, Firebase, Tailwind CSS, and Terraform.
