About the position
The Web Developer will be part of a team focused on providing web portal services to support Corporate Management Services (CMS) transformation activities. This role involves developing and maintaining multiple web applications, ensuring user experience support, and adhering to DevOps objectives. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and comfortable working collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain multiple web applications.
- Gather and define requirements through team interactions.
- Create and update technical documentation regarding software requirements.
- Troubleshoot software problems and provide effective solutions.
- Utilize appropriate software development and design methodologies consistent with CMS DevOps objectives.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience as a Web Developer.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- 4 years of additional Software Development experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree, totaling 12 years of experience.
- Proficiency in key technologies including Postgres, Docker, AWS, Vue.js, Nuxt.js, Node.js, JavaScript, CSS, Express, and Gitlab.
- Experience maintaining a functioning user-accessible website.
- Experience developing and updating technical documentation.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Postgres, Docker, and AWS is desired.
