About the position
LMI is seeking a Web-Based Service Specialist/User Experience (UX) Specialist to support an Intelligence Community (IC) client by publishing content to internal and agency-wide websites. This role involves developing new sections or content for OS-related websites, focusing on UX/UI design and coding updates. The ideal candidate will also utilize the JOOMLA ACYmailing system for email communications, execute website designs, and ensure effective communication within the agency workforce.
Responsibilities
- Publish content to internal and agency-wide websites.
- Develop new sections or content for OS-related websites with a focus on UX/UI.
- Utilize the JOOMLA ACYmailing system to disseminate email communications to DS audiences.
- Execute strategic and tactical website designs and updates.
- Work closely with graphic designers to layout and design communications, including the DS weekly Bulletin.
- Publish weekly, monthly, and intermittent communications products on the DS website.
- Disseminate communications to the DS workforce via the JOOMLA ACY mailing system.
- Update DS related web products, including specialized sites or pages for events or communications campaigns.
- Conduct website usability, accessibility, and functionality testing.
- Gather website metrics and make change recommendations based on user behavior.
- Develop business processes and an auditing system for web content updates.
- Conduct surveys to evaluate the success of digital content and revise website strategy accordingly.
- Assist with event-related communications and taskings for Directorate-level events.
- Produce articles, briefings, emails, web postings, and other multimedia content.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with frontend and web application development.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with HTML5/CSS3, SASS, and/or JavaScript.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience using SharePoint, WordPress, and/or Joomla.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience using the Adobe Creative Suite for web visuals.
- Understanding of cloud-based infrastructure and automation, including AWS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and S3.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with designers to create complex custom user interfaces.
- Experience with ADA accessibility standards and building accessible web platforms.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
- TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with corporate communications or implementing corporate change efforts using web interfaces.
