About the position

McCurdy Real Estate & Auction is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Web Developer/UI Designer to enhance their digital platforms. The role focuses on delivering exceptional experiences for buyers and sellers while streamlining business operations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating intuitive web applications and collaborating on innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the McCurdy team to design, build, maintain, and enhance web applications and features.
• Develop solutions using HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript, with frameworks such as Laravel, SASS, and Vue.
• Design and implement consistent, intuitive, and effective user interface and style guides for web applications.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience with JavaScript or related frameworks (Vue, React, Angular, Express, Ember).
• 1+ years of experience in PHP development or related frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, CakePHP, Yii).
• Proficiency with UI design tools like Adobe XD or Figma.
• Experience with SQL databases.
• Good communication skills.
• Highly organized.
• Process improvement experience.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
• Good problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with additional frameworks such as Ember.js and Angular.
• Familiarity with SASS and CodeIgniter.
