The Web Editor at Plymouth State University is a vital member of the Communications and Marketing team, responsible for producing sustainable and standards-compliant websites and online communication applications. A solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Drupal, and WordPress is essential, as well as familiarity with development tools such as Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Fireworks. The Web Editor must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of UX and UI design fundamentals and possess the ability to create responsive sites. Additionally, the candidate should be capable of developing and testing web content that complies with W3C standards and ensures cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility. The role requires effective time management skills to meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks and priorities. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are crucial for success in this position.
