About the position

We are seeking a WebFocus Developer with extensive experience in building data products on a cloud analytics platform, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this role, you will be responsible for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes into GCP, as well as integrating WebFocus to support the Enterprise Data Factory on GCP. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WebFocus, Qlik Sense, and Alteryx, and will be expected to leverage a broad set of technical skills across these areas. You will work in a collaborative environment that emphasizes paired programming and agile methodologies. As part of a small agile team, your primary focus will be on the Enterprise Modernization initiative, which involves migrating data to Google Cloud Platform. You will collaborate effectively with fellow software engineers, product owners, data champions, and other technical experts to deliver high-quality solutions. Your role will also require you to demonstrate strong technical knowledge and communication skills, advocating for well-designed solutions that meet the needs of the enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data extraction, transformation, and loading processes into Google Cloud Platform.
• Integrate WebFocus with Google Cloud Platform to support the Enterprise Data Factory.
• Collaborate with a small agile team to deliver Enterprise Modernization initiatives.
• Work effectively with software engineers, product owners, and data champions to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Advocate for well-designed solutions through strong technical knowledge and communication skills.

Requirements

• 10+ years of overall IT experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing in WebFocus Environment.
• 5+ years of experience developing QlikSense dashboards.
• 5+ years of experience developing Alteryx workflows.
• Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
• Ability to function well as a team member and work independently on assignments.
• Motivated professional with a results-oriented mindset.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Agile practices.
• Strong knowledge and experience with WebFocus version 8, App-Studio, InfoAssist, Business Views, and Portals.
• Experience in data modeling.
• Experience in Java.
