About the position

The Web & Graphic Designer at the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine is responsible for designing and developing innovative web, digital, and print materials that enhance user experience and elevate the school's visibility. This role involves maintaining and updating the school's website, participating in redesign efforts, and creating visually appealing communications collateral while ensuring brand consistency. The ideal candidate is passionate about combining form and function in design and is eager to contribute to a dynamic team focused on innovative work.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop web, digital, and print materials to improve user experience.
• Maintain and update the school's website, including participating in redesign efforts.
• Create visually compelling and brand-compliant print and digital communications collateral, such as event invitations and brochures.
• Support the Office of Communications and External Relations in achieving its goals and strategic priorities.
• Adapt to changing requirements and circumstances as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in web design/development or graphic design required.
• 1-3 years of work experience in web and graphic design.
• Experience managing websites through a content management system, preferably WordPress.
• Experience in redesigning websites/pages to improve user experience and navigation.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Basic familiarity with Google Analytics and a willingness to improve skills on the job.
• High attention to detail.
• Proactive and flexible with the ability to adapt to changing requirements.
