About the position

The Web/Graphic Designer will work in an automotive advertising agency, focusing on development and design tasks. This role involves collaborating with account executives and team leads to implement web and print designs, including emails, display ads, and website edits. Attention to detail and the ability to work under deadline pressure are crucial, as is the capacity to create impactful advertisements that drive action.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account executives and team leads on design projects.
• Implement web designs, print designs, and production work including emails and display ads.
• Pay close attention to detail while working under deadline pressure.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and modify webpages as needed.
• Evaluate code for validity, structure, and compatibility across browsers and devices.
• Assist colleagues and manage project flow using the company's project management tool.
• Deliver quality work in a timely manner.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in design.
• Outstanding design and typography skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficient in design and development software including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Ability to develop using HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
• Knowledge of responsive CSS frameworks, preferably Bootstrap, and email marketing design.
• Experience working in a corporate environment.
• Strong communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor of Arts Degree in Design or equivalent experience.
• Experience as a Front End Designer or User Experience Designer.
• A/B testing experience.
• Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
• Familiarity with basic IDE/Text Editors like Sublime, Atom, or Dreamweaver.
• UX/UI studies.
