About the position

This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a Graphic Web Designer located in Midtown, Houston, TX. The role involves in-house corporate design work, requiring a blend of creativity and technical skills in graphic design and web management. The designer will be responsible for creating marketing materials and managing the company's SharePoint site, ensuring alignment with corporate branding and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop marketing materials such as collateral, P.O.S materials, brochures, direct mail pieces, and emails that align with the brand vision.
• Generate and manipulate graphic images, animations, sound, text, and video into required programs.
• Implement web pages, maintain content, and oversee day-to-day management of the company's SharePoint site.
• Ensure quality and filing integrity of web pages.

Requirements

• 3+ years of design experience, preferably with a graphic design or printing firm.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Dreamweaver, and SharePoint.
• Ability to edit HTML and CSS.
• Knowledge of JavaScript is a plus.
• Strong creativity and design skills.
