About the position

The Web Manager/Designer at Rutgers University will lead the development and management of the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) websites, ensuring they meet user needs and institutional goals. This role involves overseeing website migration projects, collaborating with design and social media teams, and analyzing web metrics to enhance the school's online presence and reputation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Rutgers website and brand standards across all SAS websites.
• Lead website migration projects as needed.
• Work independently on large-scale complex website projects, responsible for overall content and design.
• Collaborate with the SAS design and social media team to enhance marketing strategies through web experiences.
• Collect and analyze web metrics such as visits, time on site, click-through rates, and user engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism, or a related field.
• A minimum of two years of full-time professional experience in project management and strategic planning.

Nice-to-haves

• Five years of full-time professional experience in project management and strategic planning.
• Experience in higher education or nonprofit industry.
• Knowledge of HTML and website software.
• Knowledge of SEO/SEM best practices.
