About the position

The Web Production Designer role at Modis involves working with the largest online retailer in the US to create and optimize web assets for eCommerce. The position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in web design and production, particularly in the fashion and retail sectors. The designer will be responsible for producing high-quality web assets under tight deadlines while collaborating with senior team members and maintaining effective communication with the design and merchant teams.

Responsibilities

• Creation/ resizing of static and animated web assets based on approved creative.
• Keep the tight deadline for daily production schedule with senior team members.
• Interface with senior team members to proof arts before assets are finalized and uploaded.
• Maintain clear and constructive communication with other designers and the merchant team.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in web design and production
• Strong Mac experience
• Intermediate to advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills
• Solid understanding of HTML/XHTML and CSS
• Time management skills
• Light-level of retouching photos
• Ability to learn the work process quickly
• Knowledge on Excel
