About the position

The Web QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of dealer-facing websites by developing robust automated testing solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of automated testing standards and practices, particularly in a fast-paced Agile development environment. The engineer will work collaboratively to deliver high-quality products that meet project requirements and enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and communicate meaningful functional test plans for websites across major web browser platforms.
  • Document issues found, assign severity, and drive resolution.
  • Execute regression testing to support software releases.
  • Integrate automated testing solutions into continuous integration pipelines.
  • Support, maintain, and administer cloud testing solutions.
  • Analyze system performance for bottlenecks.
  • Boost unit, integration, and regression testing coverage.
  • Adopt and mature project's best practices and coding standards.
  • Maintain a customer-focused mindset for product delivery.
  • Participate in and enhance a mature agile environment.
  • Support manual testing as needed.
  • Explore new methods and tools for automated testing.
  • Help build and maintain high team morale.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of automated testing experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Selenium WebDriver in a C# environment.
  • Proven experience in building automation solutions to drive product quality.
  • Development experience using C#.
  • Knowledge of API testing tools requiring strong coding skills.
  • Experience with Postman.
  • Performance testing experience.
  • Experience implementing and supporting continuous integration testing solutions.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA.
  • Strong background in automated, system, smoke, black box, integration, and unit testing.
  • Experience with Agile development methods such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • Script and tool writing experience for test suite execution.
  • Experience with Browserstack.
  • Experience with Test Rail.
  • Experience with Apache JMeter and BlazeMeter.
  • Dev/Ops knowledge.
