About the position

As a Web Software Developer - Intermediate at General Dynamics Information Technology, you will play a crucial role in transforming technology into opportunities by developing, coding, testing, and debugging web software. This position supports the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) and requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance. You will work under general supervision on complex programs, ensuring adherence to design processes and standards while creating user-friendly interfaces and maintaining technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, code, test, and debug new software and enhancements to existing web software.
• Work with technical staff to understand and resolve problems with web software.
• Follow formal design processes using specifications and data flow diagrams.
• Coordinate the creation and collection of technology components for site design.
• Design and develop visually-pleasing, user-friendly interfaces with intuitive navigation.
• Maintain software and web development technical documentation.
• Provide software process management and configuration management throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 7 years of experience or Associate Degree with 12 years of experience.
• 5 years of experience in website design and branding.
• 5 years of experience in interactive infographics and graphics creation using Adobe Creative Suite or similar software.
• 5 years of experience in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, ASP, PHP, XML, and IIS for Windows Server environments.
• Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment Certification required.
