About the position

The Web Specialist position is a temporary role focused on maintaining and enhancing web technologies to ensure optimal user experiences. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that collaborates closely with development and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) teams. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, project management skills, and adaptability to agile methodologies. The Web Specialist will be responsible for the timely delivery of projects and the continuous improvement of web properties, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of performance and accessibility. In this role, the Web Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain web technologies, with a strong emphasis on user experience. The candidate will manage and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and respond to urgent projects. Conducting site audits and implementing necessary improvements will be a key responsibility, as will utilizing content management systems (CMS), particularly with a preference for experience with enterprise CMS platforms like Drupal. The role will also involve employing project management methodologies, especially Agile, to facilitate efficient project delivery and quality assurance. The Web Specialist will utilize UX tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch to contribute to the design and development process. Flexibility and a willingness to learn new systems, technologies, and processes are essential traits for success in this position. The candidate will be expected to collaborate effectively within the team and across departments, contributing to a positive and innovative work culture.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive under deadlines.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and web accessibility standards.
  • Experience with large CMS platforms, with preference for enterprise CMS experience.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, particularly Agile.
  • Knowledge of UX tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
  • Experience with IT ticketing systems and Azure is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to pivot and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with enterprise CMS platforms, specifically Drupal.
