Indiana University Communications and Marketing is seeking a Web Strategist to enhance the web presence for the Kelley School of Business, a top-ranked institution offering various educational programs. The Web Strategist will be a vital member of the Kelley School's marketing team, which operates under IU's Web and Digital Strategy team. This role involves developing and executing brand and enrollment marketing strategies that align with the school's objectives and enhance its digital footprint. The Web Strategist will collaborate closely with the Executive Director of Web and Digital Strategy, the Director of Digital Marketing, and the Director of Enrollment Marketing, among other stakeholders, to create a cohesive web strategy informed by the school's brand and marketing initiatives. The responsibilities of the Web Strategist include defining, managing, and reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Kelley School's web presence. This involves tracking and analyzing web performance metrics, setting benchmarks based on existing data and industry standards, and maintaining an editorial calendar for content updates across various web pages. The Web Strategist will also review analytics and behavioral data, providing regular reports with actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders. Additionally, the role requires identifying and addressing site performance issues in collaboration with functional teams, managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and leading meetings to discuss progress towards goals and necessary adjustments. In this position, the Web Strategist will develop marketing and creative strategies to promote Indiana University through digital channels, ensuring alignment with the university's mission and brand guidelines. The role demands a high level of professionalism, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. The Web Strategist will also be responsible for designing user experience interfaces and may plan integrated digital advertising schedules to enhance the university's outreach and engagement.
