About the position

The Maintenance Technician-Facilities at Webber, LLC is responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs within network facilities. This role ensures that various systems, including lighting, plumbing, and sanitary sewer systems, are maintained in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The technician will perform a range of tasks from routine maintenance to emergency repairs, collaborating with other trades and teams to ensure quality workmanship and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct general maintenance and repairs on facilities including lighting, plumbing, and sanitary sewer systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance of structural items and potable water facilities.
  • Engage in activities such as painting, texturing, floating, finishing, wall repairs, sheet metal repair, and carpentry work.
  • Survey buildings for compliance with health and safety regulations and identify needs for assessment.
  • Use troubleshooting skills to diagnose faults across various assets and systems.
  • Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs as needed.
  • Undertake pest control activities when necessary.
  • Respond quickly to emergencies and notify appropriate personnel.
  • Implement cost-effective and reliable repairs while maintaining quality workmanship.
  • Collaborate with other trades, teams, and inspectors as required.
  • Be available for emergency response rotations, including overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least four years of progressively increased experience in relevant maintenance tasks.
  • Two years' experience as a Maintenance Technician-Facilities in an industrial or commercial environment.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Advanced knowledge of facilities maintenance, specifically in painting, texturing, and carpentry work.
  • Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods.
  • Experience operating a variety of equipment and tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and client/customer satisfaction orientation.
  • Ability to recognize hazards and practice safe work methods.
