About the position

The Website Content Marketing Manager at the University of Wisconsin-Stout is responsible for enhancing the digital enrollment pathway for prospective students and building partnerships with business and industry. This role focuses on amplifying the university's career-focused, hands-on ethos and opportunities, utilizing a digital-first approach to content creation and management. The manager will collaborate with various departments to develop and execute marketing strategies that support student recruitment, retention, and fundraising initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain content on the UW-Stout website using Drupal Workbench and SharePoint Office 365 CMS.
  • Support strategic marketing initiatives for student recruitment, retention, partnerships, and fundraising.
  • Develop content for university communications and optimize digital communication pathways, including email and digital advertising.
  • Execute cross-unit and program web marketing opportunities.
  • Maintain university client relationships and establish integrated marketing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong written and visual communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software.
  • Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) and content management systems (CMS).
  • Strong organizational, creativity, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Strategic marketing project management skills.
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Outstanding judgment and work ethic.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build consensus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with PHP, jQuery, and related programming languages.
  • Experience in a higher education environment or large nonprofit organization.
  • Development and analysis of integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management systems (CRM).
  • Comfort in creating and delivering presentations to various stakeholders.
