About The Position

The Website Content Marketing Manager at the University of Wisconsin-Stout is responsible for enhancing the digital enrollment pathway for prospective students and building partnerships with business and industry. This role focuses on creating and managing content that reflects the university's polytechnic identity and supports strategic marketing initiatives aimed at student recruitment, retention, and fundraising. The ideal candidate will be a digital-first content leader who can effectively communicate and engage with diverse audiences through innovative content strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong written and visual communication skills.
  • Strong design skills and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software.
  • Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) and content management systems (CMS).
  • Organization, creativity, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Strong strategic marketing project management skills.
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Outstanding judgment and work ethic.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build consensus.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with PHP, jQuery, and/or related programming languages.
  • Experience in a higher education environment and/or a large nonprofit organization.
  • Development and analysis of integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management systems (CRM).
  • Comfort creating and delivering presentations to various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain content on the UW-Stout websites using Drupal Workbench and Point Office 365 CMS.
  • Support strategic marketing initiatives for student recruitment, retention, partnerships, and fundraising.
  • Develop content for university websites and optimize other digital communication pathways, including email and digital advertising.
  • Develop and execute cross-unit and program web marketing opportunities.
  • Maintain university client relationships and establish integrated marketing.
