About the position

We are looking for a talented Web Designer and Developer with extensive graphic design skills to join our marketing team in Metro Atlanta. This role involves migrating content from an existing HTML site to a new WordPress platform, ensuring SEO performance, and maintaining the website. The ideal candidate will blend creativity with technical expertise in a fun and flexible environment.

Responsibilities

• Migrate content from the old site to the new WordPress site and implement 301 redirects where needed.
• Ensure smooth SEO performance during and after the migration.
• Manage website maintenance, updates, and speed optimization.
• Collaborate with the multimedia content creator to integrate graphics, videos, and content across platforms.
• Create custom graphics and apply generative AI tools to enhance creative output.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure website security protocols are followed.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in web design and development, with a portfolio of previous projects.
• Proficient in WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong skills in graphic design (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
• Experience using generative AI tools (e.g., DALL-E, Runway ML).
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and website security protocols.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
