About the position

The Website Marketing Manager at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) plays a crucial role in enhancing the online experience for patrons. This position is part of the Digital Marketing team and is responsible for managing website content, launching campaigns, optimizing search engine marketing (SEM) and search engine optimization (SEO), and ensuring website security. The manager will collaborate with various stakeholders to maintain a cohesive digital presence that aligns with the organization's marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Daily maintenance of the DCPA website content through WordPress CMS, including adding new content and managing promotions.
  • Build and launch landing pages, pillar pages, and microsites to support acquisition and sales targets.
  • Create and deploy webforms for RSVPs, sign-ups, surveys, etc.
  • Code custom views for new HTML email templates and deploy HTML emails.
  • Troubleshoot server and WordPress issues and correct data integrations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain a push calendar for website changes and content.
  • Communicate with cross-departmental stakeholders to ensure timely input and approvals.
  • Oversee the technical aspects of the WordPress site, including updating themes and plugins.
  • Monitor and report on website traffic and user engagement using Google Analytics.
  • Apply best practices for ensuring web accessibility.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in content marketing and web strategy.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems, particularly WordPress.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for web development.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Understanding of customer/donor cultivation and sales funnels.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and web accessibility guidelines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Adobe or Pendo for web analytics.
  • Ability to collaborate with graphic designers and copywriters.
  • Proactive in seeking knowledge and filling gaps in expertise.
