About the position

The Wedding Day Assistant will support the Wedding Planner in ensuring the smooth execution of wedding events. This part-time role involves on-site coordination, guest management, and assisting with various tasks to create a memorable experience for the couple and their guests.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Wedding Planner in overseeing the setup, execution, and breakdown of the event.
• Maintain a detailed timeline for the day's events, ensuring all activities run smoothly and on schedule.
• Coordinate with the wedding party, vendors, and venue staff to ensure everyone is aware of the timeline and their respective roles.
• Greet and assist guests upon arrival, directing them to appropriate areas and providing necessary information.
• Respond to guest inquiries and address any concerns or issues that may arise during the event with the Planner.
• Assist in the setup and arrangement of decorations, ensuring they align with the couple's vision and the planner's instructions.
• Quickly identify and address any unexpected challenges or emergencies that may occur during the event.
• Assist the Wedding Planner in coordinating and communicating with vendors throughout the event.
• Assist with any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the wedding planner.
