About the position

As a Wedding/Event Coordinator & Planner at K&L Events, you will play a crucial role in orchestrating memorable events, primarily weddings. This position requires a commitment to excellence and a passion for event planning. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the event planning process, from initial consultations with clients to the execution of the event itself. Your role will involve creating detailed timelines, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring that every detail is meticulously planned and executed. You will work closely with couples to understand their vision and bring it to life, ensuring that their special day is seamless and stress-free. The position is flexible, allowing for both part-time and full-time commitments, but it does require weekend availability, especially during peak wedding months from May to August. You will need to be prepared for long hours on event days, often ranging from 10 to 12 hours, where you will be on your feet for most of the day. The majority of your work will be conducted remotely, with occasional in-person meetings, venue walkthroughs, and wedding rehearsals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is dedicated to providing exceptional service to clients. Your attention to detail will be paramount, as you will be responsible for setting up and breaking down décor, managing logistics, and ensuring that everything runs smoothly on the day of the event. A strong organizational skill set, along with the ability to manage time effectively, will be essential in this role. You will also need to be comfortable with some heavy lifting as part of the setup process.   • Ability to manage budgets effectively
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Willingness to work weekends, especially during peak months
  • Reliable transportation
