About the position

The Wedding & Event Planner at Lon Lane's Inspired Occasions is responsible for guiding clients through the event planning process, ensuring a seamless experience from initial inquiry to event completion. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a deep understanding of the catering and event industry. The planner will coordinate logistics, manage relationships with clients and vendors, and curate event décor to align with client visions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in catering or event planning

• Excellent communication skills, with a professional yet personable approach to client interactions
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Capable of collaborating with and delegating tasks to a team of Production Specialists, Event Employees, and Event Contract Labor

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with catering-specific applications, such as Caterease or Total Party Planner
