Wedding/Event Sales Manager

About the position

The Wedding Sales Manager at Valle Vista Golf Club and Conference Center is responsible for driving sales and managing the wedding planning process. This role requires a strong focus on customer relations and the ability to juggle multiple details efficiently. The position does not require attendance at events, allowing for more personal time on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Achieving positional sales goals as set by management
• Conducting sales tours, follow-ups, closing deals, and detail appointments
• Ensuring clients adhere to contract terms and intervening as necessary
• Providing sales support for other Sales Specialists during their absences
• Cross-training in different operational positions and working in operations every other Saturday as needed
• Selling and promoting Valle Vista's in-house accessories and enhancements
• Delivering exceptional customer service through phone calls, emails, and site presentations
• Handling challenging situations with clients

Requirements

• At least two years of event/wedding sales experience
• Proficient in selling and closing
• Strong customer relations skills
• Great keyboarding skills and comfort in a computer environment
• Some post-secondary education preferred
