About the position

Cescaphe Event Group is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Wedding & Events Manager to join our premier wedding brand and team in Philadelphia, PA. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $65,000, plus bonuses and client tips. The ideal candidate will have experience in the fine dining hospitality industry and a passion for exceeding client expectations for their special events. As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for developing, overseeing, and coordinating exquisite events, ensuring that every detail is executed flawlessly. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients on event days, leading a team of talented staff to achieve excellent event execution. Your role will involve collaborating with culinary and operations teams, as well as outside vendors, to ensure successful event execution. You will also handle paperwork, maintain effective communication, and be flexible to perform additional duties as needed to meet business requirements. In this role, you will be expected to educate and guide clients in their decisions, ensuring that all pertinent information is collected and communicated to the appropriate departments. You will conduct post-event discussions with clients and oversee the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the venue. The Event Manager will also be responsible for overseeing food service and providing feedback to maintain high standards. Responsibilities

  • Develop, oversee, and coordinate exquisite events.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of related experience and training in event management or hospitality.
  • RAMP Certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Experience in the fine dining hospitality industry.

  • Experience in upselling services to clients.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to handle difficult situations with sensitivity.
