The Weed Sprayer/Grounds Maintenance Worker position at DAP Construction Management LLC involves enhancing the Grounds Maintenance Team at Luke Air Force Base. The role requires a licensed spray technician who is responsible for identifying and controlling noxious weeds, applying herbicides, and performing various landscaping tasks. The position emphasizes teamwork, pride in work, and adherence to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Identify noxious weeds and undesirable vegetation.
• Complete work orders by mixing, applying, and recording pesticide applications according to applicable laws.
• Review all chemical labels and SDS sheets for each product in use before application.
• Operate application equipment such as off-road equipment, truck spray rig, and backpack sprayer.
• Perform routine maintenance of all application equipment and vehicles.
• Mow turf with a zero-turn riding mower and trim grass around trees and structures.
• Edge around sidewalks and pavers, and cut down tree limbs posing a danger.
• Trim trees and shrubs for maintenance and aesthetics, and prune for growth or damage removal.
• Rake, mulch, and remove debris on the grounds as needed.

Requirements

• Arizona certified applicators license (required).
• Driver's license (required).
• 1 year of grounds maintenance experience (required).
• Ability to pass a background check (required).
• Personal vehicle for commuting (required).
