About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Brand Ambassador to join our team at Weedmaps. In this part-time role, you will represent the brand, engage with customers, and promote our products in various settings. Your primary goal will be to create a positive brand experience while driving sales and increasing market awareness. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about customer service and community engagement, particularly within the cannabis industry.

Responsibilities

• Represent the brand at events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate potential customers about our offerings.
• Utilize social media management skills to promote brand initiatives and engage with followers.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
• Engage in public speaking opportunities to present the brand's message clearly and confidently.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies that drive product sales.
• Market products through various channels, ensuring consistent messaging across platforms.
• Provide feedback from customers to help improve products and services.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the brand.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old
• Full-time, part-time, graduate student, or recent graduate of the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor
• Demonstrable knowledge of relevant clubs, organizations, and events
• Influential among peers with strong connections to a diverse range of organizations
• Ability to utilize your network and communication skills to find event and speaking opportunities
• Strong knowledge and use of Instagram and TikTok
• Strong and proactive influential communicator with presentation skills
• Willing to keep personal social accounts public for the entire duration of the program
• Eligible to work in the US with a valid SSN
