About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Brand Ambassador to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, engaging with customers and promoting our products in various settings. Your primary goal will be to create a positive brand experience while driving sales and increasing market awareness. If you have a passion for customer service and enjoy interacting with people, this position is perfect for you.

Responsibilities

• Represent the brand at events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate potential customers about our offerings.
• Utilize social media management skills to promote brand initiatives and engage with followers.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
• Engage in public speaking opportunities to present the brand's message clearly and confidently.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies that drive product sales.
• Market products through various channels, ensuring consistent messaging across platforms.
• Provide feedback from customers to help improve products and services.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the brand.
• Complete training and create accounts on all required platforms.
• Introduce peers to Weedmaps in an authentic and meaningful way and drive user registrations through word of mouth, social media promotion, and off-campus activations for 6 weeks.
• Have peer to peer conversations, host micro-community or group announcements, post TikToks, Instagram Stories, Main Feeds and Reels, and activate at local community events with Wasserman Next Gen.
• Identify credible, creative ways to integrate Weedmaps into your life and your peers' lives.
• Collect insights and feedback through peer conversations.
• Show us the results! Complete recaps on your event and speaking opportunities.
• Maintain daily communication with Wasserman Next Gen and collaborate regularly with your fellow Weedmaps Student Brand Ambassadors.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old
• Full-time, part-time, graduate student, or recent graduate of Miami University - Oxford
• Demonstrable knowledge of relevant clubs, organizations, and events
• Influential among peers with strong connections to a diverse range of organizations
• Ability to utilize your network and communication skills to find event and speaking opportunities
• Strong knowledge and use of Instagram and TikTok
• Highly creative, innovative, and possessing a growth mindset
• Strong and proactive influential communicator with presentation skills, not afraid to ask questions
• Flexible, adaptable, and open to feedback

Nice-to-haves

• May have an already existing affinity for Weedmaps and its services
• Willing to post about Weedmaps and cannabis on social media
• Able to receive and store program deliveries
• Willing to keep your personal social accounts public for the entire duration of the program
• Not currently engaged in another Wasserman Next Gen Ambassador program
