About the position

SAGE Dining Services® is seeking an experienced Weekday Prep Cook to join a small kitchen team in Cleveland, OH. This role focuses on preparing high-quality, made-from-scratch meals for students in a private school setting, offering a better work-life balance compared to traditional restaurant hours. The position requires a positive attitude and a willingness to assist in various kitchen tasks, including dishwashing during lunch service.

Responsibilities

• Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members.
• Maintain the customer service areas to ensure guests enjoy amazing dining experiences.
• Prepare assigned menu items in accordance with SAGE recipes.
• Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques (HAACP).

Requirements

• Experience as a prep cook or line server in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English accurately.
• Ability to interact with SAGE guests and Team Members in a professional and positive manner.
