About the position
The Weekend Activity Aide at Tabor Hills Senior Living Campus is responsible for organizing, directing, and executing a diverse activity program for residents during weekends. This role focuses on enhancing the quality of life for seniors through engaging activities, both in group settings and one-on-one interactions.
Responsibilities
- Direct, plan and complete all activity related duties for assigned area.
- Complete daily participation records and assist with care plan development.
- Update daily calendars and orientation boards.
- Assist in planning activities and developing the monthly calendar.
- Assist in planning seasonal decorations.
- Distribute resident mail in a timely fashion.
- Perform any miscellaneous work assignments as required.
Requirements
- Experience in organizing and executing activity programs for seniors.
- Ability to work weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in care plans.
- Background in recreational therapy or related field.
