About the position

The Weekend Bridal Consultant/Sales Associate plays a vital role in assisting brides in selecting their ideal wedding gown. This part-time position focuses on providing exceptional customer service in a supportive and empowering environment, primarily during weekends. The consultant will work closely with brides and their parties, ensuring a memorable shopping experience while meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to create a welcoming atmosphere for brides and their entourage.
• Recognize and understand the emotional nature of wedding dress shopping.
• Support and reassure brides throughout the selection process.
• Assist brides in selecting their wedding dress and complementary accessories.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Work towards meeting or exceeding sales targets and goals.
• Accurately document dress details and customer information in records or computer systems.
• Communicate general industry knowledge, including fabrics, timelines, and designers.
• Advocate for the bride's ideas and preferences.
• Answer phones and handle customer inquiries professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store and steam bridal gowns as needed.
• Ensure compliance with boutique policies regarding returns, exchanges, and appointments.

Requirements

• Retail experience or sales experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand on feet for 8+ hours.
• Weekend availability is essential.
• Longevity within the position of 1.5-2+ years is preferred.
• Proficient use of Apple computer systems.
